Privacy Policy
EC Image Cropper helps users resize, crop, and save images directly in the browser.
Account and registration
EC Image Cropper does not require a user account. There is no login or registration system, and users are not asked for a name, membership details, or payment information.
Image processing
Image processing takes place locally in the user's browser.
- Selected, dropped, or pasted images are processed in the user's browser.
- Images are not uploaded to the EC Image Cropper server.
- Images are not stored in a database.
- The developer does not have access to user images.
- The app does not retain the image after the page or image tab is closed.
File access and saving
The app only accesses images the user selects, drops, or pastes. It does not scan other files on the device. The save location is chosen by the user through the browser's download or file picker flow, and the saved image is written directly to the user's device.
Local browser storage
The selected interface language may be stored in the browser's localStorage. This information is not used to identify the user and can be deleted by clearing browser data.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
EC Image Cropper does not use advertising cookies, behavioral tracking, or advertising profiling. The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics / Real User Measurements (RUM) for aggregated visit and performance measurements. This analytics system may process technical measurements such as page views, visits, loading performance, and Core Web Vitals. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies, localStorage, or user fingerprinting for this purpose. The data is not used to show personalized advertising or create advertising profiles.
Technical access logs
During normal website connections, hosting, CDN, and security providers such as Cloudflare and Google Cloud may process standard technical data such as IP address, browser information, request time, requested page, and connection performance. This data may be used to operate the service, protect security, prevent abuse, and measure performance. EC Image Cropper does not use this data to create advertising profiles.
Email contact
If the user sends an email, the email address and information voluntarily shared in the message may be processed only to answer the message, review a bug report, or provide support. It may be deleted when no longer needed.
Discord
Contact through Discord is optional. When Discord is used, Discord's own privacy terms apply, and the user controls what they share in their profile or messages.
Data sharing and sale
User images are not uploaded to the server, sold, or shared with third parties. Limited technical and aggregated usage data may be processed by Cloudflare to provide CDN, security, and Web Analytics services. This data is not sold for advertising purposes.
Retention and deletion
Images are not stored on the application server, so they do not require a server-side deletion request. The language preference can be deleted by clearing browser data. Deletion requests for personal information sent by email can be sent to [email protected].
User rights
Under applicable data protection laws, users may contact us about access to personal data, correction of incorrect data, deletion of data, restriction of processing, or objection to processing.
Third-party links
External links, such as Discord links on the contact page, are subject to their own privacy policies.
Policy changes
This policy may be updated when the app or legal requirements change, and the update date on this page will be changed.
